Calliope P. (Sikailis) Carmosino, 89, from Marlborough, formally of Mashpee passed away on September 18th, 2025.
Callie to her friends and Calope to her dearest family was born and raised in Cambridge MA. She was always happy to share her fondest stories of Cambridge, taking the T to Carson beach and working her first job at Haymarket Square.
She graduated from Cambridge Latin High School in 1954 and continued to complete secretarial school.
Callie was proud of her 20-year career at Polaroid where she met her husband Ronald Carmosino, they married in 1960. She took a leave for several years to raise her children. She worked as a Secretary and Corporate Trainer throughout her career. Callie took early retirement from Polaroid in 1996 to enjoy her Cape house, traveling and most of all becoming a YiaYia.
A few of Callie's favorite things were reading, cooking, shopping, traveling and cats.
She leaves a son, Peter and his wife, Kathleen of Hubbardston, daughter, Paula of Sparks, NV, grandchildren Callie Carmosino of Hubbardston and Rebecca Woodard and husband Andrew of Manhattan Kansas. And many loving nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by husband Ronald Carmosino, parents Spriros and Eleni Sikalis sisters Catherine Halakis (husband John) Margaret Norton and Eugenia Laridis , brothers Peter Sikalis(wife Mary), Paul Sikalis and Theodore Sikalis.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11AM at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 14 Magazine Street, Cambridge, MA. Visitation prior to the Service from 10AM to 11AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above named church. Burial will take place after the service in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough, MA.
