Beatrice Klappes Pappas, 89, of Lexington, Massachusetts passed away on June 19, 2017 after a brief and sudden illness. She was born on March 13, 1928 to the late John & Bessie (Diamond) Klappes. She is survived by her husband of almost 61 years, Nicholas J. Pappas, her three children and their families: Jimmey and his wife Stella Pappas of Tewksbury MA, Johney and his wife Diane Pappas of Ellington, CT ,Kikie (Pappas) Lampiris and her husband John of Ashland, MA. Also survived by her 6 grandchildren: Nicholas (Nikko) & his wife Nicole (McGowan), Anastasia, Elena & her husband Louis Gillen, Nicholas (Nick) & his wife Ashley (Maine), Athena & Paulina; as well as one great-grandchild, Oliva. Also survived by her sister Demetra Zacharakis of Theologos, Greece. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral from the Faggas Funeral Home, 551 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown, MA on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 8:30am, followed by a funeral service at 10 am in the St. Athanasius the Great Greek Orthodox Church , 4 Appleton St., Arlington, Ma. Visiting hours on, Thursday, June 22nd from 4-8 pm in the Faggas Funeral Home. Burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, MA. Prior to her 51 years of living in Lexington, MA, Pensacola, FL was her home amongst many relatives & friends. She loved her family dearly, which was her heart and soul; and, in turn, she was loved and will be missed by many. May her memory be eternal.
