Barry Gilbert McQuilen of Singapore died on August 28, 2004 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. Barry was born on February 5, 1952 in Somerville. He attended St. Clements School in Somerville He received his BA from UMass Lowell and his Masters Degree fro Boston College, and his Doctorate in Business from the University of Western Australia. He is survived by his wife, Shifa Qkuda of Somerville, his sister, Joyce Harty of Wakefield, MA, his brother George McQuilken of Portsmouth, NH and his brother Doug McQuilken of Niantic, CT. Uncle of Joseph and Leigh Harty, Annie,Lucy,Angus and Jennifer McQuilken. Prayers and burial will be at 1pm on Monday, August 30 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Sudbury. A memorial service will be held at 5pm on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Wakefield, located at 326 Main St.,Wakefield. A gathering will take place following the Service at the home of his sister, Joyce Harty, 2 Dell Ave., Wakefield.
