Athanasios Karasoulos,87, of Medford, MA, passed away on July 16, 2023.  Born in Kalloni, Lesvos, Greece. Beloved husband of Stavroula (Hadzipaleologou) Karasoulos. Devoted father of Anastasia Karasoulos-Vekiarides and her husband Lazarus Vekiarides, and Nicholas Karasoulos. Cherished Papou to 3 grandchildren.  Devoted Brother of Aspasia Papadakis and her husband Andonis, and Stamati Karasoulos. Loving Uncle of George Papadakis and his wife Christina. Also survived by many relatives and friends here and in Greece. Funeral Service on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale Ave., Woburn, MA at 11:30AM. Visitation prior to the Service from 10AM to 11:30AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the above named church. He served in the US Army from 1958 until 1961 and then entered the US Army Reserves from 1961 until 1964.  Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford, MA.
