Argero Triantos's Obituary

Argero (Koufos) Triantos of Everett, MA, passed away on February 26th at the age of 91. Beloved wife of her late Nicholas Triantos. Devoted mother of Peter Triantos and his wife Eleni, and Vasiliki Nikoletos. She leaves behind her siblings Panagiota Fourtounis, Evangelos Koufos, and Irene Zervas.  Argero is the loving grandmother of Alicia Argergo, Irene, and Nicholas Triantos, Lefki Bardis  and Dimitris, and Argyro Karalis and husband Peter. Great grandmother of Nicholas and Christina Karalis, Alexandra, Theodore and Nikoletta Bardis. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Argero was born in Vassara, Greece and immigrated to the United States in 1968. She supported the family business, Sturgis Cleaners, for over 40 years as a seamstress in South Boston where she was known to many as "Ma". She loved spending time with family, enjoyed baking and looked forward to growing vegetables and fruits in her garden. She will be forever cherished and deeply missed. Funeral services on Wednesday, March 3 rd at the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 14 Magazine St., Cambridge, MA at 11 AM. A brief visitation will be held in church prior to the funeral service from 10- 11am. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the above named church. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, MA.
