Antonios "Tony" Paganis, 90, of Arlington, Mass., passed away peacefully on Sept. 7, 2021 surrounded by his family. Born in Filiatra, Messinias, Greece. Antonios came to United States at the age of 25. He was the son of the late Efstathios and Dionisia (Pandeli) Paganis. Beloved husband of Anastasia (Pantazopoulos) Paganis. Devoted father of Stathis Paganis and his wife Betty, and Kosta Paganis and his wife Nitsa. Cherished papou of Stacie, Analise, Tony, Phillip, Anthony, Foti and Taso Paganis. Brother of Stavros Paganis and his wife Antoinette, Venetta Economakos, Dimitri Paganis and his wife Soula , and the late Haralambos Paganis, and the late Ioannis Paganis. Brother in law of Sofia Paganis, and Mary Paganis, and the late George Economakos. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece. Funeral Service on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:30AM at St. Athanasius The Great Greek Orthodox Church, 4 Appleton St., Arlington, MA. Visitation prior to the Service from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited attend. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Athansisus Greek Orthodox Church, Arlington, MA or to The Dormition of The Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 29 Central St., Somerville, MA 02143. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
