May 10, 1933 – February 11, 2022
Anthony J. Arico, of Lexington, passed away peacefully at home on February 11, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved son of the late Angelina ( Mancuso) and Frank Arico. He also was the beloved husband of the late Lucy (Fallo) Rando . Devoted father of Judy A. Bousquet and her husband Ronald, Rita A. Dutson and her partner Jeff, Janice R. McDonough and her husband Terence, Joyce L. Dunn and her husband John, Tammy Carney, and Kenneth Arico. Loving brother of Rose Terronova her late husband Sam, Josephine Peltier and her husband Ernest, the late Salvatore Arico, and the late Charles Arico.
Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren children, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Tony was born and raised In Watertown, Massachusetts, attended Newton North High School Trade School program and went on to be a successful Contractor with endeavors in Real Estate investment and remodeling.
Some of his passions and hobbies were owning racehorses, playing cards with friends, hitting casinos to play black jack and poker, spending summers in Maine and Winters in Marco Island and Arizona. He was a true Italian that loved to cook and bake amazing Biscotti's and Pizzelles. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins. He loved all children, especially the younger ones…he had the biggest smile whenever a grand baby was around.
His wit, loyalty, humor, kindness and gentleness will always bring a smile to our faces.
Funeral from the Faggas Funeral ,551 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown, MA on Tuesday February 15, 2022 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, on 920 Trapelo Road, Waltham, MA @11 AM . Visitation on Monday , February 14,2022 at the funeral home from 4PM to7PM . Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 33 Myrtyle St, Waltham, MA 02453. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
