Ann Chalas of Winchester, MA, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2020.  Ann was born in Lynn, MA on March 31, 1930. She was the beloved wife of the late John Chalas, devoted mother of George Chalas and his wife Dianna Crowley Chalas and Stephanie Chalas Stafford and her husband Gary Stafford, and loving grandmother of John and Andrew Chalas. She was the daughter of the late Ellen and Nicholas Pernokas, and sister of the late Evelyn Vlahakis, Celia Letts and Alice Norman.Ann was an avid runner. She enjoyed the beach and spending time with her family. She spent many fulfilling years working at Tufts University, helping students organize and manage their undergraduate records in preparation for pursuing professional careers. As a result of the current health crisis in the world today, funeral service and burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Avenue, Watertown, MA  02472.
