A. Nick Chagaris of Arlington and formerly of Hampton, NH, entered into eternal rest on October 19,2010. He was the father of Stephanie DeVasto and her husband Robert of Winchester and George Chagaris and his wife Sherry of Newmarket, NH. Late husband of Katherine Speros Chagaris .Grandfather of Alaina King and her husband Matthew,Alyssa DeVasto,Alexa Rousseau and her husband. Matthew, John and Mandy Chagaris. Great grandfather of Matthew and Kristia King , Ashley Davidson and Ava and Veranique Rousseau. Nick was the brother of the late John, Peter , William and Charles Chagaris and Helen Stevens. Nick Served with distinction in the US Navy for 22 years serving in the South Pacific during World War II. He achieved the rank of Master Chief Petty Office . He then continued to serve as a consultant to the US Government for an additional 22 years. Visting hours will be held on Saturday October 23,2010 at the St. Athanasius the Great Greek Church ,4 Appleton St., Arlington, MA from 9 to 10 am. Funeral services to follow at 10 am. Burial in Grove Hill Cemetery, Waltham, MA. In lieu of flowers donations in Nick's memory may be made to the above named church or the Shriners Hospital for Children, Boston, MA
