Andromahi Siafis, of Raynham Massachusetts, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025 at the age of 99 surrounded by her family.  Born in Amarantos, Konitsa on January 20, 1926, she was a devoted and caring woman and a source of strength for all who knew her.

Andromahi emigrated from Greece in 1968 and shortly thereafter experienced the loss of her husband, Menelaos Siafis.  While she could have returned to Greece, her determination to give her daughters a good life was her primary goal so she remained in Jamaica Plain where she had family and where she met many new lifelong friends.

Andromahi is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Sofia and Kostas Papadogiannakis, Angela and Michael Moore, and Fotini Siafis and Vasilis Adamidis. She was a loving and protective Grandmother to Andromahi Kouvlis and her husband George, Thanasis Adamidis, and Gabriella Moore.  Also, a loving Great Grandmother to Agapi and Sofia Kouvlis.

Andromahi was the oldest of nine siblings and is also survived by two sisters and many nieces and nephews and their families in Greece and Boston area.

In her earlier years, she supported her brothers as they attended University and was also involved in supporting soldiers as part of the resistance during German occupation of the Northern Regions of Greece.

Upon retiring Andromahi spent six months out of every year in her home in Aidonohori, Konitsa enjoying the company of friends and family.  She liked to crochet, cook traditional meals, and gardening.

Andromahi will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Services will be held at St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 15 Union Park Street Boston on May 22, 2025.

Visitation at the Church will be 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. followed by the Funeral Service.
