Obituary

Andrew Francis Sexton, of Marlborough, Mass, previously of Sudbury and Ashland, passed away on January 3, 2015, following a long illness. Mr. Sexton was born in Framingham, Mass on March 30, 1959. He was the fifth child of the late Thomas F. and Jeanne D. Sexton. Andrew was the beloved husband of Nancy Lee Sexton for 27 years, and devoted father of Phoebe Jeanne Sexton and Emily Anne Sexton. Mr. Sexton graduated from Framingham North High School in 1977, and received a B.A. in Economics from Clark University in 1981, and an M.B.A. from Cornell University in 1986. He worked for many years in finance and accounting for Price Waterhouse, Rogers Corp., Kendall Corp., and Fidelity Investments, before becoming a full-time father to his two young daughters. Before the onset of his illness, Mr. Sexton worked for Golfers Warehouse and Spectrum Health Systems. Andrew was a passionate golfer, musician, and woodworker, and will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. In addition to his wife and daughters, he is survived by his sister Katharine (Kitty) S. Miller and husband Tom of Mashpee, brothers Mark C. Sexton of Holliston, Michael J. Sexton and wife Marlene of Marstons Mills, and Brian P. Sexton and wife Melinda of Prince George, VA, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 12:30 p.m., at the First Methodist Church, 360 Water St., Framingham, Mass. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
