Andreas Kalogeropoulos, 86, of Wakefield, Massachusetts passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 26, 2024. He was born in Klimi, Greece.
He came to United States in 1970 with his wife Antonia and they lived in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. They later moved to Melrose, Massachusetts and made their home in Wakefield, Massachusetts where they raised their two children. His favorite hobby was his garden. When he was not working, he was gardening. He had the most beautiful vegetable garden. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and three grandsons. He was a devout Orthodox Christian.
Beloved husband of Antonia (Stavropoulos) Kalogeropoulos. Devoted father of Dimitrios Kalogeropoulos and his wife Jean Marie, and Stella Cochran and her husband William. Loving Papou of Deano Kalogeropoulos, Nicholas Cochran, and Dimitrios Cochran. Loving brother of Niki Korovesis. Brother-in-law of John Stavropoulos, Elias Stavropoulos and his wife Maria, Christos Papandoniou and his wife Kiki, Vasili Stavropoulos and his wife Christina, and Marinos Manatis and his wife Georgia.
He was predeceased by his parents and his siblings.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece.
Funeral Service on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale Avenue, Woburn, Massachusetts. Visitation prior to the Service from 9:30AM to 11:00AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the above named church.
Burial in Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield, Massachusetts.
