Anastasios J. Zois, of Milton, MA passed away on March 11, 2022. Born in Tripoli, Greece.  Son of the late John and Garifalia (Kougias) Zois.  He came to America in 1950.  He met his beautiful wife Georgia Prokos in the mid 1950's in New York and they married shortly after they met.  The came to the Boston area and made their home in Milton, MA.  They had two children, Joanne and Perry.  Anastasios opened a convenience store in Roxbury, MA , Sunrise to Midnight which he owned and operated until the late 1960's. He then opened a restaurant in Weymouth, MA, A & H Restaurant which he worked diligently until his retirement in the mid 1980's.  He loved to spend time with his family and granddaughters.  He loved gardening and it flourished with vegetables, which he would share with his neighbors.  He was also known as "Mr. Fix It".  He was mechanically inclined and could fix just about anything.  He was a devoted Orthodox Christian and loved his church.  He was predeceased by his late wife Georgia (Prokos) Zois who passed away on February 8, 2022.  He is survived by his children, Joanne Hatzopoulos and her husband George, and Perry Zois and his wife Bess. Cherished Pappou of Alexandra Hatzopoulos, Jaclyn Zois, and Deanna Zois.  Also survived by many relatives and friends.  Funeral Service on Monday, March 14, 2022 at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common Street, Braintree, MA  at 11AM.   Visitation prior to the Service from 10AM to 11AM at the church.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Memorial donations in his memory may be made to St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common St., Braintree, MA  02184, St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 39 Belgrade Ave., Roslindale, MA  02131 or to Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA  02452.  Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton, MA.
