Anastasia B. "Ann" (George) Dimitrakis, 83, of Arlington, formerly of Cambridge, died quietly on May 7, 2011 at the Park Avenue Nursing Home in Arlington, Mass. A loving and devoted wife to the late George C. Dimitrakis and loving daughter of the late Peter and Christina George of Cambridge. Loving sister of Kalliope "Kelly" Nicholas, Kathryn Elios and a the late Christos George and Dennis P. George. Sister- in -law of the Margarita George and the late Maureen George, William Elios and Stephen Nicholas, Marius C., John Dimitrakis and Helen Failkow. Also leaving behind many nieces and nephews: Victoria(Nicholas) Grzybinski , Irene Elios, Charles Elios, Steven George, Dennis P. George, Jr., Andy George, Diana Tomaselli, and Christine Wheldon. Also leaving behind many grand nieces and nephews: Christopher Grzybinski, Mathew and Julie Elios, Michael and Kevin George, Nicholas, Natalie and Sara Tomaselli. Anastasia was a member of St. Athanasius the Great Greek Orthodox church in Arlington and on the committee and board of the George C. Dimitrakis Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Cambridge. Committee member of the Daughters of Penelope Agatham Chapter 140; Real Estate Broker 1987 - 2008, Board member of the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton, and greatly involved in the construction and dedication of the Marius Dimitrakis Memorial Fund for the St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Hyannis in 2007-2008. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 10 from 2 to 6pm at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 11 at 10 am in St. Athanasius The Great Church, 4 Appleton St.,Arlington. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Athanasius The Great Greek Orthodox Church, 4 Appleton St., Arlington, MA 02474 c/o Ministries or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St.,Framingham, MA 01701. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington, Mass.
