Alyssa Christina Devasto's Obituary

Alyssa Christina DeVasto 40, of Burlington, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Sunday, January 24.  She leaves behind her most precious treasures in life, her three daughters, her loves and light,  Ashley Marie Davidson, Juliana Belle and Zoey Brooke Cornetta all of Burlington.  She also leaves her parents, Robert & Stephanie DeVasto of Burlington, her sisters, Alaina King (Matthew) and Alexa Rousseau, along with her nephew and nieces, family and friends.

Alyssa was a 1998 graduate of Lexington High School and earned her Medical Assistant degree in Colorado.  Her faith was important to her, and she was active in her youth in the Greek Orthodox Youth of America at St. Nicholas Church in Lexington.  During her childhood, she spent many weeks at the Metropolis of Boston Camp in New Hampshire and at The Ionian Village in Greece, where she was known for her kindness and humor.

Growing up, Alyssa's beautiful voice could be heard in school and community musicals or singing the Star Spangled Banner at sporting events.  She participated in Varsity Cheerleading all four years at LHS, where her team spirit and zest for life shone through.

After graduation, she spent many years working alongside her father at Wells Fargo in the mortgage division.  She recently returned to her passion of healthcare and serving others at an urgent care health clinic in RI, helping on the front lines of the COVID19 pandemic.

Funeral services will be held at the St. Athanasius Church, 4 Appleton Street, Arlington, MA on Saturday, January 30.  Viewing hours will be at 11 am, followed by a funeral service at 12 noon if you are unable to attend  the services will be live streamed http://www.saintathanasius.org/livestreaming .  Internment will be at the Pine Haven Cemetery in Burlington, MA.
