Obituary

Alice Aspacia Karelas died on Dec.22nd 2012 in Framingham, MA. Beloved wife of the late Theodore Karelas. Devoted mother to Arthur Constantine Karelas, his wife Doreen, James Karelas and Diana Karelas Karampour. Loving sister to the late Nick Nichols and the late Eugenia Pergantis. Grandmother to Stacy, James and Jessica Karelas. She had a great love and special relationship with her grandson Alexander Karampour. She deeply loved many people over her many years of life, especially her late sister Eugenia's children Charles, John and his wife Marylynn and William Pergantis. Many family friends felt the love Alice had for them and respected and loved her back calling her their second Mother. Alice was a woman of the Greatest Generation of World War II and did her part for her country by serving "our boys" at the USO clubs in the Boston area. She was known for her great sense of humor which she passed on to her children. But more importantly she taught her children what true love is by putting their needs always ahead of hers. She will be greatly missed in tears until our reunion, as she often said, "with my Jesus" in heaven.
