Alexander Reissis, of Arlington, Massachusetts passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 14, 2013. Beloved husband of Paraskevi (Laoumzis) Reissis. Devoted father of Kostas Reissis and his wife Julie and Maria Reissis-Dres and her husband Jimmy. Loving Papou of Yianni Dres, Alexander Dres, Christos Dres, Evi Dres, Alexandros Reissis and Filea Reissis. Brother of Dimitris Reissis and his wife Georgia, Maria Tourkomanolis and her husband Stefanos. He was predeceased by his parents and five siblings. Brother in law of Petros Laoumzis and his wife Anna and Popi Sotiropoulos. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece. Funeral Service on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 10am in St. Athanasius The Great Greek Orthodox Church, 4 Appleton St., Arlington, Mass. Visiting hours on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 5 to 8pm in the church. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the above named church. Burial Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
